Nothing phones home

No analytics, no crash reporting, no accounts. The single network request any of these make is asking GitHub whether a newer version exists.

Native, not a browser

Swift and AppKit throughout. They idle at a fraction of one percent of a core, and the menu bar only redraws when the number on it actually changes.

Verifiable releases

Each build is compiled in public by GitHub Actions and published with a checksum the app verifies before it will install an update.

Yours to keep

MIT licensed, no strings. Read every line, build it yourself, or fork it and take it somewhere new.

Note on first launch

These releases aren't notarized with Apple yet while the studio's developer enrollment is in progress, so macOS will ask you once. Open System Settings, go to Privacy & Security, and choose Open Anyway. One time, then never again.
